Transition fencing is a partial replacement service. Instead of tearing down your whole fence, we remove and rebuild only the damaged or worn sections. This keeps costs down and preserves the parts of your fence that still have life in them. We match materials and style to blend the new work with what's already standing.
Here in The Woodlands, weather and time hit fences hard. Summer heat warps boards, humidity rots wood, and storms loosen posts. We assess which sections need to go and which can stay. We use pressure-treated pine or cedar, depending on what your current fence is made from. The work takes days, not weeks, because we're not starting from scratch.
You get a fence that looks whole again without the price tag of a full rebuild. We handle the removal and disposal of old material. When we're done, the transition between old and new sections blends in naturally, especially after a season or two of weathering.
About transition fencing
Will the new sections look different from my old fence?
At first, yes. New wood is lighter than weathered wood. We stain and seal the new sections to speed up the blending process. Within a year or so, the whole fence will look uniform as everything weathers together.
How do you know which sections to replace?
We walk the fence line with you and point out what's rotting, leaning, or beyond repair. We never recommend replacing a section that still has years left. You make the call on what goes.
Can you match my existing fence style?
If you have the original fence design or can describe it, we can match it. If your fence is a standard picket or privacy style, we can replicate it. Unusual custom designs may need photos or samples to get it right.
